Call system for clinics
Point the clinic number at Terri for hours, booking, and reschedules. Every symptom, refill decision, and result transfers. This is not a nurse line and not a HIPAA BAA product.
Useful only when front-desk work stays separated from anything a nurse or physician has to say.
A wrong answer on this floor is a clinical answer. When in doubt Terri stops.
Administrative work: hours, locations, whether you are accepting patients, which insurers you list, booking and rescheduling, and a callback message. Any symptom, medication question, result, or caller in distress must reach a person.
No. Collecting the medication name, pharmacy, and callback number is front-desk work. Approving a refill, suggesting an alternative, or saying when it will be ready is a clinical act and should reach a person.
No. Results should not be read, summarized, or interpreted on an unauthenticated software call. Terri says a person from the clinic will call back, and transfers if the caller is distressed.
No. Terri is a call system, not a HIPAA BAA product. A scheduling call with a patient name and visit reason is protected health information. Clinics that need a Business Associate Agreement should not route those calls here.
Every plan includes a dedicated number and voice usage credit.
