A designed Terri is a phone agent we write from your brief, then you subscribe to Scale to go live. It is the same voice product as self-serve, with the first working scripts written by us and payment turning on the inbound number.
Send the scripts, escalation tree, compliance language, and hours you already use. We turn those into standing instructions, identities, handoff numbers, and outbound prefixes — then sit through the first clean transcripts with you.
Typical work: overflow when every human agent is busy, after-hours coverage, routine inbound that should never wait in queue, and outbound confirmations inside an allowlist you approve. The center keeps the calls that need judgment.
Start at /call-center. Send the brief — volume, hours, greeting, overflow or after-hours coverage, and who to transfer to. Subscribe to Scale. Payment applies that designed spec, provisions a dedicated inbound number, and activates the tenant. An existing Terri admin can also log in and launch the same brief on their current account.
Scale is the designed-agent plan, with dedicated onboarding. Start at /call-center — brief, then Scale checkout, then a live number. Starter and Pro remain self-serve on the pricing page; a call center that wants us to write the agent should not start there. Catalog terms still list volume pricing.
You still own staffing, QA sampling, and the decision of which queues point at Terri. We do not replace your ACD, workforce management, or CRM. Terri answers and places calls; your center remains the operation.
Every call leaves a transcript, subject to retentionDays and recordingMode. Sample them the way you sample agent calls. A miss in week one is an instruction bug, not a staffing problem — fix the line, re-test, then widen the queues.
Handoff conferences a number from handoffPhoneNumbers into the live call so the caller, Terri, and the human agent can hear each other. Blind transfer still exists when you want dump-and-dial. Write and test the escalation phrases before any queue is cut over.
This is not a workforce-management suite, a multi-skill router, or a replacement for licensed or regulated advice. If every call needs a person, keep the person. The designed agent is for the volume a center already knows is scriptable.
Set the agent up yourself, or have us design the inbound agent a call center will run. Neither path is a fallback.
